Arroz y tartana.

Arroz y Tartana es una miniserie de dos capítulos de una hora basada en la novela homónima de Vicente Blasco Ibáñez.

La acción se desarrolla en la Valencia de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Son años de cambio y movimientos sociales. La ciudad se transforma en un personaje más y a través de ella vemos como las gentes de la vida valenciana de la época van conformando la trama de la historia. Las fiestas populares, el mercado, la voluntad de aparentar, las relaciones sociales, etc, nos permiten adentrarnos en la personalidad de una ciudad emergente en pleno inicio del siglo XX.

Arroz y Tartana is a miniseries of two chapters of one hour each based on the novel of the same name writen by the well-known Spanish author, Vicente Blasco Ibañez.
 

The action takes place in Valence during the end of the 19^th Century and the beginning of the 20^th Century, years of great social changes. The city of Valence becomes one of the main characters of the story. The everyday life of the Valencian society of this time interweaves the plot of the film. The people trying to show off in their everyday social relationships at traditional festivals and markets make us go into the personality of an emerging city during the beginning of the 20^th Century.
